Step 2: INFORM
Understand Dr. Atti's insurance policy and hourly rate. Dr. Atti does not take insurance and operates as an "out of network" provider for the following reasons:
Many insurance companies reimburse clients for a portion of their session fees; you are encouraged to speak directly to your insurance company to determine your level of coverage. To help facilitate this, Dr. Atti will provide clients with printed bills that should be acceptable to their insurance carrier so that they can seek reimbursement, upon eligibility.
Dr. Atti understands that the cost of therapy may be more than some clients are able to afford, thus is willing to work with each individual in order to formulate a financial plan that works for their budget. Please discuss your needs with Dr. Atti so that she can work with you. Payment is collected at each therapy session and she accepts payment in the form of cash, check, and credit cards. Please note: reduced fees are available on a limited basis; discuss your needs with Dr. Atti.

Many insurance companies require that providers give detailed reports regarding a client's issues and progress in order to get more sessions authorized, and thus a client's treatment may be dictated by one's managed care representative.
- She provides unique, individualized therapy and believes that the number of hours required to work with insurance companies would be better spent on endeavors that will directly impact you.
